A Ring Of Love

Make a Valentine’s Day Heart Wreath with your children to hang on your front door or any prominent place in your home. 

Here’s what you need:

A paper plate
Red and pink construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Pencil
Markers

Here’s what to do:

1. Cut out large hole in the center of the paper plate.
2. Use a pencil to trace hearts on red and pink construction paper and cut out the hearts.
3. Have your children write the names of the people they love on each of the different hearts in marker (Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles, Teachers, Friends, etc.)
4. Talk to your children about why they love each person and what makes each person special.
5. Glue the hearts to the rim of the paper plate.
6. Your children can embellish their Valentine’s Day Heart Wreath with stickers or glitter if you like.

The entire family can make one wreath or each child can make his or her own.
